Echo Award
On 20th September this year (2019) I was nominated for an Echo Award in the courage category.
**I won**
I was amongst so many courageous people I don't know how the judges decide.
These awards recognise brave and inspirational people from our region who might otherwise go unnoticed.
I was humbled to be included.
To be in such a beautiful setting with so many individuals who have made a difference in people's lives was an honour.
To say I was overwhelmed and shocked is an understatement
I was grateful to two of my best friends who juggled their lives around to come along with me and make it such a special night.
